As mentioned yesterday, ITS has found no evidence that the vulnerability has compromised campus systems or that university data has been accessed or exposed.
While we work on patching them, a few websites remain temporarily unavailable from off campus. All major campus systems including Canvas and Google are fully functional.
We will provide further updates on a regular basis.

Investigating
Cal Poly Humboldt Information Technology Services (ITS) is taking immediate precautionary steps in response to a recently identified vulnerability affecting campus web services. ITS has found no evidence that the vulnerability has compromised campus systems or that university data has been accessed or exposed. These steps are intended to protect campus systems and information. While ITS carries out this work, some campus websites and web-based services may be temporarily unavailable from outside the campus network. ITS is working to maintain access from campus, though some services may also be interrupted there. The duration of any interruptions is not yet known. No action is required from students, faculty, or staff. ITS will continue monitoring the situation and share updates as more information becomes available. Thank you for your patience.
